Time-Resolved Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (TNIRS) plays a pivotal role in identifying the early stages of cognitive impairment, whereas general blood tests have advanced AI services for cognitive screening. This paper begins with a concise overview of the current state and significance of dementia and its related diseases. It then delves deeper into the scientific foundations and effectiveness of these two diagnostic methods. Additionally, the potential implications of recent research findings on emerging medical strategies are explored.
