In order to build a dementia-friendly community, collaboration with industry is essential because people with dementia living in the community use services and purchase products from private companies. Here, we introduced collaboration with financial institutions to provide better service for older adults including people suffering from dementia. Evaluation of capacity to contract and decision-making support are applied to the operation of financial institution. We realized that it is important to customize medical and psychological knowledge into each industry through the experience. Decision-making support in various situations would promote dementia-friendly community.
