GBA(glucocerebrosidase)mutations are the most common genetic risk factor of Parkinson’s disease. But, the molecular mechanism is totally unknown. We have found out the upregulation of 26-29-p gene and toll-like receptor gene in GBA mutant flies. Thus, we hypothesized that the local inflammation cause α-Synuclein aggregation from cellular immunity through toll-like receptor. This paper indicated the possibility of new treatment for neurodegenerative diseases such as Gaucher’s disease as well as Parkinson’s disease.
