Current situation of tau imaging

Several promising tau probes have been developed by Tohoku University ([18F]THK series), National Institute of Radiological Sciences ([11C] PBB3), and Eli Lilly ([18F]T807and [18F]T808). The kuzuhara·Ihara theory, partial volume effect, and tau pathology in AD were discussed in this paper. It will be certain that tau imaging plays an important role in a study for pre-stage of Preclinical AD.
