A desirable screening tool for detecting early Alzheimer's disease (AD) would be composed of tests of episodic memory and other broad cognitive domains including attention and executive function, and the ability of using related information to memory process actively and effectively. In the main text, the study applying the Brief-Neuropsychological Scale (BNPS) to patients with mild AD was introduced. The result of the study indicated that the BNPS was useful to screen AD patients in early stage.
