The tort law and the tort litigation as the means of the social reform

　　The purpose of this article is briefly to observe some opinions on Allen M. Linden's theory of “Tort law as Ombudsman”.　To conclude, the tort law and the tort litigation can function as Ombudsman to accomplish the social reform at present day when the judicial democratization and the realization of the participatory democracy are required.
