Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by the presence of Lewy pathology and characterized by various symptoms. Delusional misidentification and depressive state may occur in DLB patients because of the interaction between organic and psychological factors. Besides, Agitation may be caused by multiple factors. The effectiveness of the treatment for DLB is still unclear. However, Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) may be effective in safety. Agitation should improve rapidly. It would be important to choose the treatment (antidepressant, cholinesterase inhibitor, neuroleptics, dopamine agonist and ECT) according to severity and symptoms.
