要旨: オンコサイトーマと嫌色素性腎細胞癌を代表組織型とするoncocytic and chromophobe renal tumorの鑑別診断は広範囲に及び，日常診断でしばしば難渋する。本総説ではWHO泌尿生殖器腫瘍分類第5版（以下，WHO2022）におけるオンコサイトーマと嫌色素性腎細胞癌の診断基準の改定点と，両者の鑑別診断について解説する。また，WHO2022では新たにother oncocytic tumors of the kidneyという項目が加わった。そのあらましと，本項目に含まれる腫瘍群の特徴について紹介する。
